Our featured entrepreneur today at Pandora's Box is Christine Schmidt, who is a consultant with Pampered Chef, Ltd. This global multi-level marketing company offers consumers a variety of tools for their kitchens, a food product line, and user-friendly cookbooks for assisting the home chef with preparing food in their own homes. The Pampered Chef headquarters is located in Addison, IL and they have a global sales force in the US, Canada, and Germany.

A Word from Pampered Chef Consultant Christine Schmidt

There are so many reasons to start your own Pampered Chef business. The thing that convinced me was the host program, a love for their products, and a way to pay off some debt without working a part-time retail job. Their products have made cooking easier and more fun in the kitchen. One of the most attractive aspects is their host program where I earned a ton of free items with a $900 party. I kept doing catalog parties for about 6 months, and every time I submitted a catalog party my consultant would ask me if I wanted to join her team. I finally said yes, and I am so glad I did. I never imagined I’d be doing Pampered Chef 14 years later.

Pampered Chef gives me an outlet to pursue the things I love to do like cooking, entertaining, and spending time with people. It’s a business that’s there for me when I need extra funds to pay down bills and just add to the fun fund for traveling. The beauty is you can work the business when and how you want, but it takes time and dedication to build a strong business.
