There are two kinds of people in this world—ones who live life with a purpose—and those who don’t. The ones who don’t, waste time on things that don’t matter.
What doesn’t matter? Petty quarrels, complaints, silly disagreements…those are things in this life that should not affect our perspective. Yet, so many times, sad to say—they do.
We need to change our perspective and start living life on purpose.
It’s been said that the two greatest days in your life are the “day you are born and the day you figure out your purpose.”
Every birth is a miracle. That means we’re all miracles here on this earth. If you don’t believe that…than talk to a couple who can’t have kids—they’ll tell you that every baby born in this world is a miracle. However, that’s another story entirely…so let’s get back on track.
So, if we’re all miracles, why don’t we live like we are?
So many of us take life for granted and don’t live in awe of each brand new day and expect God to do great things in our lives each day. Many times we live like nomads wandering around in the desert. There will be times we’re living in the desert, training times, in our lives, but God also wants us to live away from the desert and live out some mountaintop experiences.
What would happen in your life if you started living everyday on purpose? Getting up each day with the knowledge that you could make a difference in the world—it is possible. One person can change the world…it just happens one step at a time and by helping one person at a time. That’s when the ripple effect happens. You help someone and then that person helps someone else and the wave of kindness washes over others.
Let’s start living life on purpose. Do you want victory in your life? Victory over sin…? Success in your business…? Restoration in broken relationships…?
It starts with a decision.
That’s it, you say? Yes, that’s it. Absolutely nothing will change in your life if you don’t make a conscious decision to welcome that change into your circle of the universe. God wants to move in your life, but He also asks that we meet Him halfway with taking that first step of faith into His direction.
Are you ready to take that step?
Even if you are far removed from the spiritual aspect of this conversation in regard to a relationship with God, this simple truth remains—nothing is going to change for the better in your life, until you take the first step.
Don’t waste your life away over meaningless things. Life is short. Life is precious. Make every moment count. Make a difference in your life and the life of someone else today.
Everything Has Its Time
3 To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:
2 A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted; 3 A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up; 4 A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance; 5 A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing; 6 A time to gain, And a time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to throw away; 7 A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak; 8 A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace.
