Award-Winning Author, Suzi Vadori Delivers Books to Support Kids Help Phone (KHP)

by Joanne Troppello

Professional counseling, information, and referrals for young people are available 24/7 through phone, text, mobile app, or on by Kids Help Phone—which is the only national service helping kids like this in Canada. Award-winning author, Suzi Vadori is supporting this great cause, Kids Help Phone (KHP) by signing and hand-delivering orders of her popular The Fountain Series this December in the Calgary area.

According to Ms. Vadori, “Signed books are such a unique, personal gift for readers of all ages. It is my privilege to bring books to readers’ doors and spread awareness of Kids Help Phone at the same time.”

Ms. Vadori further explained how important it is for young people to have a place to call if they need help. “Many people don’t realize Kids Help Phone sees a significant increase in young people needing support during the holidays, which can be a stressful time for many families. I’m proud to support KHP the whole year through, but especially during this critical time. All kids deserve to have a safe place to call.”

Ms. Vadori puts her words into action. This year, she toured Alberta, and shared her love of writing, her books, and the message of KHP to kids in Kindergarten through 12th grade across the province. A portion of those proceeds were donated directly to KHP.

This December is Ms. Vadori’s fourth annual campaign to help raise awareness for the wonderful 24/7 counseling, information, and referral services of Kids Help Phone. Ms. Vadori has enjoyed signing books and meeting her readers leading up to the Christmas holiday season.

This wonderful charity helps so many children in crisis. They rely on generous donations during the holidays and throughout the year. A generous $5 will be donated to Kids Help Phone for every book sold through Ms. Vadori’s website, between December 5th and 23rd.

With a nominal shipping charge, signed books can also be sent nationally and internationally. The delivery campaign runs from Dec 5-23. To order a signed book for someone on your Christmas list, visit Delivery Campaign on Ms. Vadori’s website. Through this free and anonymous service, young people can connect in both English and French for the support they need during any crisis situation. Please call 1-800-668-6868, we are always open.
