Book Feature: Joey Flynn’s Extraordinary Tale by Meghan E. White

Joey Flynn’s Extraordinary Tale by Meghan E. White

We love featuring books at Mustard Seed Sentinel. Today we are featuring children’s Christian fiction book, Joey Flynn’s Extraordinary Tale by Meghan E. White. We’ll find out more about the book, why Meghan wrote it, and where you can find it online.

Why I Wrote the Book

I never dreamed of being a writer, nor had the desire. That all changed when God told me to write this story. Initially, I didn’t want to do what God had asked. I kept giving Him excuses. I didn’t know how to write a story, let alone a children’s story. Finally, I gave in. He gave me every word, character, and idea. I give God all the glory for this little story. He wrote it. I just put pen to paper, and He did the rest.

About the Book

Meet eleven year old Joey Flynn. He’s a regular kid who likes baseball, video games, and hanging out with friends. His ordinary life changes the summer his family moves from California to Oregon, where he meets an extraordinary individual.

Come along with Joey on his adventures as he learns to trust God.

About the Author

Meghan E. White was born in Southern California where she spent most of her youth. After several moves during her childhood, she ended up in Oregon, where she stayed for many years.

Meghan never dreamed of being a writer, but God told her to write about Joey. After a few years of writing, it was time for a change of scenery.

So, Meghan, her husband, and two sons picked up and moved to Texas. If you listen close you might catch her saying “Ya’ll” from time to time. She loves encouraging kids and adults through writing.
