Mercy, Love, and Grace

by Chrissy Kay

Life has gotten a bit busy these past few months. There have been equally as many "ups" as there have been "downs", and some days have even tested my faith.

I had not been focusing my time as much as I should be on God. I had even put some of my work to the side. Both of these choices were bad ones.

I felt as though I could not find the time to spend in prayer, but that is what I should have done before anything else.

Yet, I know that despite my choices, God never stopped loving me, working for me, and listening, even when I couldn’t find the words. That is mercy, love, and grace.

When I took a moment to focus on the changes occurring in my life, I really could see the blessings taking place, both personally, and professionally.

I am thankful for this type of wholeness that only comes from God. Without Him, there are many things I just could not do.

All of these things are what I have been working so hard for. God is showing me that my prayers and hard work are paying off. He is always there, even when I am not.

That is love.
