Have You Inspired Anyone Recently?

Our world needs more encouragement and love today

by Joanne Troppello

“Correction does much, but encouragement does more.” – Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

If you’ve ever been encouraged by someone—especially when you were having a really bad day—you understand the power of encouraging words. There are many hurting people in our world today. People need Jesus. I have been praying for revival and for salvation for people across the globe.

In addition to praying and trying to live out my witness in Christ by my actions, not simply by my words, I have been trying to share inspirational posts on all my social media accounts as a way to encourage others. The following is my second video for the Inspiration Corner at my Mustard Seed Sentinel YouTube Channel. I’ve taken a grouping of the inspirational posts and added those photos to a video with music.

Inspiring Others

Here are some ideas on how you can inspire others today:

  • If you want to make a difference in the world today, consider sharing inspirational posts on your social media accounts.

  • Respond maturely and don’t react immaturely when interacting with people in person and online.

  • Smile when you can. Yes, that is severely lacking in our society these days because of having to wear a mask in most public places. However, if you can smile when not wearing a mask, that can really brighten someone’s day.

  • Send a friend or family member a text or DM, call them, or video chat with them to let them know that you were thinking about them. If you’ve been praying for them, share that. Knowing that someone is praying for them can truly and positively impact a person’s heart.

  • If you read a Bible passage that impacted you in a positive way, share that with a friend or family member or share it on your social media accounts.

Have you inspired anyone lately? Has anyone inspired you?
