Is the Mode Earn App Legit?

My Experience Earning Money on This App

by J.M. Troppello

As a freelance writer, I work from home and schedule my own work hours. I’m always on the lookout for additional work from home opportunities to supplement my content writing income and my husband’s income from his job as a pest control technician.

In the last two weeks, I’ve been searching online and testing out various “cash apps” to identify any legitimate ones that my husband and I could use during our free time. I found a bunch of dead ends. However, I found one legitimate opportunity that I’d like to share with you.

Earning Money with the Mode Earn App

The Mode Earn App – formerly known as Current Music & Game Rewards – is a legitimate way for you to make passive extra income doing things that you are likely already doing.

For example, you can earn points simply by charging your phone or mobile device. This app allows you to earn points by unlocking your phone every two hours. You can earn points by listening to music on their 100+ online radio stations through the app. There are various games that you can download through the Mode Earn App. Simply play the games throughout the day and you can earn points. This app allows users to take surveys and try new products, and then give their opinions – to earn points.

Mode Earn App Points Translate into Earnings

You can set goals to earn points. For example, the first goal I set was a $10 gift card to PayPal, which is worth 20,000 points. It took a few days, but I earned those points and received the money in my PayPal account. I got $9.60 (there is a processing fee from PayPal).

I received a notice that the money could take up to 3-7 business days to be transferred to my PayPal account. I received it in 4 business days.

There are various ways that you can redeem your points. For example, you can get 13,500 points and receive a $6.00 PayPal gift card. My next goal is to get 38,950 points to receive a $20.00 PayPal gift card.

The Mode Earn app offers a variety of gift cards like the following: Coinbase (cryptocurrency), Mastercard, Amazon, Stash, Target, eBay, Starbucks, iTunes, TJ Maxx, Sephora, Play Station, Walmart, Best Buy, AMC, Google Play, and more.

If you’d rather get products for points, you have that option as well. Some examples I’ve seen on the app dashboard are smartwatches and earbuds.

Mode Earn App Boosters

You can earn more points when you get notified that those specific boosters are occurring. For example, at some points during the day, I get notified that I could get boosted earnings for charging my phone. Then, I’ll charge my phone to earn increased points to get to my goal faster.

There are super boosts activated for increased earnings for listening to music. For example, you could be boosted up to $0.6 per minute of music compared to your original rate of 3 or 4 cents. As you play games, watch videos, and respond to surveys, you can increase your earnings rate.

That’s why it’s important to keep your notifications on for the Mode Earn app. I like to have different notification ring tones for various apps so I can differentiate between getting notified from this app and receiving a text from someone, for example.

Additionally, Bonus Bucks get activated when you redeem your points. Basically, you earn points up to 50% faster over the next few days when you listen to music through this app. In order to keep the Bonus Bucks active, you need to redeem your points at least once a month.

Mode Earn App Referral Feature

When you refer someone to download the app and use it, you can earn up to $25 in points for each person. The Mode Earn app also offers users the benefit of receiving 5% of any referrals you make – for their music earnings only – for life! That’s a great benefit.

If you’d like to try out the Mode Earn app, feel free to click my referral link. I can attest that I’ve tried it and the app is legitimate. You won’t get rich off of using this app. However, that’s not why I’m using it. I like getting paid to charge my phone (which I already did every day). I like getting paid to listen to music on my phone (which I already did daily on the Spotify app). I like getting paid to play games on my phone (which I had been doing already).

I tried a few surveys on this app, but I didn’t qualify for 1 or 2. So then I decided not to do any more surveys. I don’t want to waste time using the surveys on this app. However, I find value in it for making money through charging my phone, unlocking the screen, listening to music, and playing games.

If you have tried this app or decide to try it, please let me know your experience with it.
